So the TK I promised is still TK. (For those of you non-publishing types, "TK" is editor shorthand for "to come.")
For now, though, here are a couple pictures of the fire. Some guy on the street took them. Many of you may have already seen these, but if not, here they are.

Though unfortunate that your apt got smoky, that photo of you only amplifies your superheroishness. Wearing a serape, smoking a square, and sporting the stache all in front of a burning building = awesome.

h i just realized how funny this event makes everything - I guess unlit matches don't totally work
in film/video post-production TK is short for telecine (film transfer).
now the lingo trade is complete.
