This time Paul Newman's gone too far

From the label of Newman's Own Oldstyle Picture Show Popcorn:

"The popcorn in this jar is the top of the crop – the top 20% of the crop of hybrid all-natural corn especially grown for Paul Newman."

What does he think he is, some sort of terrible Aztec god, some latter-day Quetzlcoatl? This time he's gone too far.
